The images below, the first captured by Kepler telescope, show its full field of view in the constellations Cygnus and Lyra—about 100 square degrees (twice the size of the dipper in the Big Dipper).
The 42 CCDs in the Kepler photometer/camera are arranged in pairs in a square arrangement (minus the corners).
